Only what the estimates need: province and city, immigration status category, arrival or landing date, marital status, number of children and their ages, employment income amounts and whether income is Canadian or foreign, childcare use and fees, housing and transport situation, savings available, and the choices you make in the roadmap, eligibility and tracking modules. Purpose: to calculate estimates and show relevant planning items on your device.

We do not collect your Social Insurance Number, passport number, PR card or immigration file number, health card number, driver's licence number, or banking or credit card numbers. Ages, dates and status categories are enough. Please never enter those identifiers here.

In this prototype everything stays in your browser's local storage on this device. There is no account, no server-side database and no backup. It stays until you delete it in the privacy centre or clear your browser storage.

No backend, analytics, advertising or messaging provider is connected today. Before any is enabled, we must complete a privacy impact assessment, confirm where information would be held and put appropriate contractual safeguards in place, particularly before communicating personal information outside Quebec. This page will be updated before that happens.

You can see everything stored (export it as a JSON file), correct it by editing your profile, delete all of it, and withdraw optional consents at any time — all from the privacy centre. Withdrawing an optional consent never blocks the free tools.

Strictly necessary storage keeps the tools working. Every other purpose — analytics, personalization or partner link tracking, marketing email, marketing text messages — is optional, off by default and toggled separately. If we ever want to use information for a materially different purpose, we must ask again first.

The tools ask for children's ages to estimate benefits. The product is intended for parents and guardians and is not directed at children.

As with any website, the hosting provider may record standard technical request information such as IP address, timestamp and browser type for security and reliability. Those logs do not contain the values you entered.
